Product News: Enhanced Previews, More Policy Templates, Document History, and Tasks

A few updates that make everyday privacy work easier: enhanced previews while you configure experiences, more policy templates to start from, a better way to manage document changes, and a shared place to track follow-ups.

Preview Changes at Real Device Sizes

The consent banner, privacy center, floating button, blocked-content placeholders, and Trust Center now use the same enhanced preview experience. Switch between desktop, tablet, and mobile to see each experience at its actual device width. Responsive breakpoints behave the way they will for visitors, so you can check your work before publishing.

36 Policy Templates in the Policy Builder

The Policy Builder now includes 36 templates. In addition to Privacy, Cookie, and AI Policies, you can create documents for information security, access control, incident response, vendor management, data classification, business continuity, secure development, and more.

Each template gives you a structured draft with conditional sections and your organization's details already included, so you can review and tailor it instead of starting from a blank page.

Document History and Version Comparison

Every document in the library now has a complete version history. When you publish an update, you can review previous releases, compare them, or restore an earlier version.

The comparison view shows changes line by line and word by word, including across languages and formats. Rich text and HTML appear as readable content instead of markup, while file-based documents show file-level changes.

Tasks for Privacy Work

Tasks give teams one place to create, assign, and track privacy or trust work. You can attach a task to a Data Hub items like Data Systems, keeping a follow-up about a system or data flow connected to the record it relates to.

If you use IAB TCF and Google advertising tags, Concord can now use a visitor's TC string to set Google Consent Mode signals for ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization. Enable the option in Privacy > Consent > Consent Settings > IAB TCF. We've also updated Global Vendor List support for IAB TCF v3 / Policy v5.
