Product News: Enhancements to Data Systems Experience

We've made some significant enhancements to the Data Systems area of Concord that are designed to make the process of managing your company's data systems easier and more actionable.

This release includes a redesign of the Data Systems experience, including improved navigation, richer detail views, and more powerful reporting to help teams understand their data ecosystem with greater clarity.

What's New

  • Redesigned Data System Views: The main Data Systems interface has been reworked to make it easier to view, configure, and understand the systems connected to your company.
  • New Single Data System Detail Views: Each data system now has a more comprehensive detail view that allows you to more easily view and manage each individual data system.
  • Improved Reporting & Organization: We've introduced improvements to how data systems are organized in Concord, making it easier to generate meaningful insights about your data environment. This helps teams better track coverage, identify gaps, and maintain accurate records for internal governance and external audits.
  • Better Controls for Managing and Documenting Systems: Updated controls and editing experiences make it easier to maintain system documentation over time. Teams can more quickly update system details, track changes, and ensure their records remain accurate as tools and infrastructure evolve.

Why It Matters

Together, these improvements make it even easier for organizations to:

  • Understand where personal data flows across their environment
  • Maintain a complete and accurate system inventory
  • Support data mapping and privacy impact assessments (PIA/DPIA)
  • Demonstrate compliance during privacy reviews and audits
